Gapped up on the 8:45 news and held VWAP the whole session. Took the first pullback to the rising 9 EMA, added once it reclaimed the premarket high.

Sized this one properly for once — no trimming the A+ setup out of nerves.

Slow grind higher all morning, no real pullback to enter on. Ended up paying up at the half-dollar and it still worked.

Note to self: chasing worked today, which is exactly why it is dangerous.

Clean opening range break. In at the retest, out into the 11am stall when volume dried up.

Left maybe 40 cents on the table by exiting early. Fine. Getting paid for the setup I planned beats holding for the one I did not.

Faded the open, thought it was a bounce, it was not. Stopped out for a small loss within four minutes.

The setup was never there — no volume, no level, I was just bored after a slow first hour.

Same trade I forced three weeks ago. Writing it down again because clearly once wasn't enough.

Small one. Took it because the plan said to, not because it looked exciting.

Boring is the goal now.

Best trade since the TSLA runner. Pre-market volume was enormous, it held the level three separate times, and I let the winner run instead of grabbing the first green.

What made it work: I had the plan written down before the open, so there was nothing to decide once it triggered.

Sized up after yesterday's runner and got punished for it. Entry was reasonable, size was not.

Same mistake as June and July: the loss came from position size rather than from the read. The read was fine. The size is the thing to fix.

Big gap, held it, added on the first higher low. Out most of it into the 10:30 push and let the rest run to lunch.

This is the one I want to repeat. Not the size, the process.

Short into the open, covered almost immediately when it refused to break. Small red, no drama.

Good exit honestly. A month ago I'd have sat there arguing with it.

Took the break, got the move, took the money. Nothing clever.

Entry was fine, then it chopped and I gave back more than I should have waiting for a bounce that never showed. Cut it before lunch.

The mistake wasnt the entry, it was deciding to be patient with something that had already stopped working.

Huge day. Held through two pullbacks that would have shaken me out a month ago, because both held the 9 and the volume never left.

First time holding a runner has felt like a decision instead of a gamble.

Straightforward continuation off the premarket high. In, trailed it, out when it lost the level.

Waited nearly an hour for this one to set up and it was worth it. No trades before it, which is the part I'm most pleased about.

Forced it. Nothing was there, I wanted to trade, I paid $165 for the privilege.

This is the trade to stop taking.

Nice steady trend day. Added twice, both on pullbacks that held.

Starting to notice the days I do well are the days I'm not watching the P&L.

Short side again and it worked. It failed the open, lost VWAP, and never got back above it.

I'm far more comfortable long, which probably means I should look at more of these rather than fewer.

Took a starter, it didn't extend, closed it flat-ish and moved on.

Day after a week like the last one I'll take small and quiet.

Worst day I've had. Took it on the gap, it faded, I added into the fade thinking it was a pullback and it just kept going.

I didn't have a stop in mind before I entered. Thats the whole story. Not the setup, not the market — I entered a trade without knowing where I was wrong.

Went in too big trying to make it back, which is the exact thing I keep reading not to do.

Biggest red in weeks, and it came from size. After I'd already decided the plan, too. Taking Monday off.

Back after a day away. Deliberately unambitious. Clean setup, took the first target, went and did something else.

Felt slow. Slow is fine.

Gap and go, held the whole morning. Normal size, not revenge size, and it still worked.

Small loss on a setup that just didn't go. No complaints — stop was defined, it hit, I left.

This is what a loss is supposed to look like.

Solid. Opening drive, pullback to the 9, continuation. Textbook and I almost talked myself out of it on the theory that the last one was too good to follow.

Biggest winner so far. Enormous relative volume before the bell, held every level on the way up, and I moved the stop up behind it instead of grabbing the first $200.

The difference between this and the old me is I had a target and a plan for what to do if it kept going. Both written before the open.

Index trade, wrong direction, small loss. Shouldn't be trading SPY intraday at all really, its not what I'm good at.

Second short of the month and the first one that worked. Failed breakout, sellers stepped in at the prior day high, covered into the afternoon flush.

The SPY one earlier was me fighting a trend. This was a level that actually broke.

Got chopped up. Entered three times on the same name, stopped twice, third one worked but not enough to cover the first two.

One setup, one entry. If it stops me out the trade is over, not the start of a negotiation.

Small green. Took it, it worked a little, closed it.

Good clean one. In on the retest of the opening range, out into the 11am stall. Same trade as always when it works.

Held too long. Was up nicely at 10, gave it all back and more by 11:30 waiting for a target I'd made up on the spot.

The target has to exist before the entry or its not a target, its a hope.

Nothing dramatic. Planned it, took it, it worked. Out by 10:15 and didn't touch anything else.

Small red on a low-float that never got going. Alot of noise, no follow through. Cut it quickly at least.

Bad one. Averaged down twice on something that was clearly broken because I didn't want to take the loss.

This is the biggest loss I've had and it came from refusing a small one. Every single time.

Quiet green day. Took one setup, it worked, closed the platform.

Went in too big because the setup looked perfect. It wasn't, and the size turned a normal loss into a bad one.

Still doing this. The read was maybe 60/40 and I bet it like it was 90/10.

Good day. Momentum held all morning and I actually let it run past the first target instead of taking the quick green.

Tried to short a strong market. Don't know what I was thinking. It never even pulled back.

Entered late, chased the move after it had already gone, and got the usual result for that.

If I've missed the entry I've missed the trade. Not a hard rule to follow, apparently harder than it looks.

First real green day in a while. Waited for the setup instead of taking the first thing that moved.

Red. Jumped in on the open with no plan because it was gapping and I didn't want to miss it.

Missing a trade costs nothing. Taking a bad one costs $180 apparently.

Starting to keep these properly. Decent trade to begin with — bought the pullback after the gap, held it about twenty minutes, took the money.
